Cast iron burners with rotating retort

Cast iron burners with rotating retort
Innovated cast iron burners of boilers have a rotating retort (part of the burner where the fuel is burned). The retort rotates by using a simple mechanism mounted at the end of the screw feeder. Rotation occurs twice per one turn of the screw feeder. Thanks to the rotation, the fuel in the burner constantly rotates towards the fan and can burn the fuel throughout the fireplace much better. The second advantage is the self-cleaning effect. Due to the rotation, the sintered ash does not stick to the burner and it is easily pushed by fresh fuel into the ashtray. The Drive of the screw feeder is powered by proven electric motors and gearboxes made by German company Nord.
